The GOP-led Senate is now expected to pass the House-passed joint resolution negating President Trump’s national emergency declaration to divert appropriated funding to his border wall project.
About a dozen Senate Republicans are considering voting for the resolution, according to Politico. The article said the White House is doing little to discourage the revolt, aside from promising a veto, which Congress probably doesn’t have the votes to override.
