Committee Hearings to Watch

DOD leaders will be on Capitol Hill over the next few days to talk about the Trump administration’s fiscal year 2020 budget request. Here are some of the hearings to watch online:

  • House Armed Services Committee hearing with Army Secretary Mark Esper, Army Chief of Staff Mark Milley, Air Force Secretary Heather Wilson and Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Goldfein, Tues., 10 a.m.
  • House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on climate change and national security, Tues., 10 a.m.
  • Senate Armed Services AirLand Subcommittee hearing on Army modernization, Tues., 3 p.m.
  • House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee hearing on the Air Force budget with Wilson and Goldfein, Tues., 3 p.m.
  • House Armed Services Strategic Forces Subcommittee hearing on space programs Weds., 1:45 p.m.
  • House Budget Committee markup of spending cap legislation, Weds., 2 p.m.
  • Senate Armed Services Seapower Subcommittee hearing on aviation safety, Weds., 2:30 p.m.
  • Senate Armed Services Strategic Forces Subcommittee hearing on missile defense, Weds., 2:30 p.m.
  • Senate Armed Services Committee hearing with Wilson and Goldfein, Thurs., 9:30 a.m.
  • House Armed Services Readiness Subcommittee hearing on military housing reforms, Thurs., 10:30 a.m.
