Leaders at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, are renewing concerns about new nearby wind farm developments, saying they are facing increased pressure to restrict low-level flight training routes due to “wind farm encroachment,” Wired.com reports. Similar disputes have cropped up between some military installations and wind farm developers in North Carolina, Tennessee and upstate New York.
