Communities near Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, are preparing for new housing and other accommodations for the arrival of close to 3,300 personnel and military family members attached to two incoming F-35 squadrons, the Air Force Times reported. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, has confirmed it will host a major F-35 aircraft support and management program that could lead to at least 400 jobs, according to a press release. The F-35 Hybrid Product Support Integrator Organization, which was established in 2016 as part of the F-35 Joint Program Office, will be part of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at the base.
