Defense Community Leadership Academy Application Deadline Approaching Soon

The application deadline for ADC’s second Defense Community Leadership Academy is fast approaching on Mon., July 19.
ADC will again join Blue Star Families in hosting the latest DCLA training event on September 23-25, 2019 in Washington, D.C. This two-day learning and networking opportunity for emerging community leaders from around the country will explore the latest tools and strategies for growing capacity to support military families at the local level. Leading service member and military family support professionals will serve as faculty and guide participants through an innovative training program.
ADC is accepting applications from emerging leaders who want to improve their skills for developing and nurturing a local network of support for military families. Candidates should have a connection to a defense community, region or state through their job or a volunteer role.
Candidates are selected through a competitive process and will be able to participate in the program with little cost due to the generous support of sponsors including the Defense Credit Union Council and Booz Allen Hamilton. The program will continue after the fall event through an online community,
