Nominate Your Defense Community for GADC Recognition by Next Wed., Sept. 18

September 11, 2019

Great American Defense Community (GADC) nominations continue to be accepted for ADC’s annual recognition awards that celebrate the unique contributions communities that host military installations make to improve quality of life for service members and their families.
The USAA-sponsored program has been an ADC initiative since 2016, highlighting the regions and individuals that are making an exceptional commitment to improving the lives of military members and veterans.
Communities are selected following a competitive nomination process based on community building and integration, support and collaboration, educational and employment opportunities, and family support.
The 2020 GADC application can be found on the ADC website. Nominations are due Wed., Sept. 18.
The 2020 class of Great American Defense Communities is scheduled to be announced in November.
