Louisiana will spend $10 million of hurricane recovery funds to build 50 permanent homes for Louisiana National Guard soldiers and airmen at Camp Beauregard, Gov. John Bel Edwards (D) announced this week. Development company Lennar and its partners are considering a plan to build homes at the former Concord Naval Weapons Station, Calif. Lennar is already building homes at the former Hunters Point Shipyard, Calif., and the former Naval Station Treasure Island, Calif., Business Insider reported….
