The Army will celebrate 10 community partnership projects at a Dec. 5 ceremony at the Pentagon, it announced Wednesday in a statement to On Base that also describes the honorees.
The Community Partner Awards recognize “exceptional” installation-community partnerships that support the Army’s readiness, modernization and reform initiatives.
“This is exciting news for the Army and for our community partners,” said Alex Beehler, assistant secretary of the Army for installations, energy and environment. “Our partners help us enhance readiness, create efficiencies and modernize our Army. We thank them for all they do.”
