The Senate approved appropriations bills Thursday that had already cleared the House.
“A lot of hard work brought this appropriations process back from the brink,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), said Wednesday, according to CQ.
The White House has said President Trump will sign the long-delayed appropriations legislation before Friday night, when current government spending expires.
