IG: 41% of Service Member Property Moves Run Late

Moving company headaches continue for military families relocating their belongings to a new station, a new DOD inspector general report concludes. The report, released Wednesday, said about 41% of personal property moves are late, and about 21% result in damaged or lost items.
It offers seven recommendations for DOD to make the moving process more convenient for military families.
