A new state law in Ohio will make it easier for service members and spouses to get professional licenses when they move to a duty station there if they are licensed in other states, according to a press release. “Military service is a very, very high calling that brings with it benefits but frequent relocation can place a burden on families. Our goal today is to remove those barriers,” Gov. Mike DeWine (R) said when he signed the bill into law at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base….

A California water utility is suing the federal government over PFAS contamination in one of its wells near the former Mather Air Force Base. “We live in the communities we serve, and we share community concerns about the possible impacts our firefighting mission may have on human drinking water sources,” an Air Force spokesperson said in an email to the Sacramento Bee, adding that the Air Force is “executing an aggressive effort” to clean up PFAS.
