SECNAVY Nominee Denies Relationship with Cambridge Analytica

Kenneth Braithwaite, President Trump’s announced nominee to become Navy secretary, failed to disclose ties to Cambridge Analytica, CBS News reported. The former political consulting firm was part of disinformation campaigns during U.S. and U.K. elections.
Cambridge Analytica documents showed Braithwaite was a consultant, but he said he never did work for the company that would’ve required disclosure in 2017, when he was nominated for, and confirmed as, the U.S. ambassador to Norway.
