Biden Executive Order Raises Minimum Wage for Federal Contractors

Federal contractors will be required to pay their employees a $15 minimum wage, after an executive order the White House announced Tuesday.

The requirement will be part of federal solicitations starting in January. The wage increase will go up in future years based on inflation.

The current required minimum wage for federal contractors is $10.95.
