Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey (R) is asking DOD to clean up groundwater contamination at four current and former air bases in metro Phoenix and Tucson. “Ensuring that all Arizonans have the cleanest possible drinking water from public water systems today and for our future is critical for our health and well-being and a top priority of our state,” Ducey wrote this week in a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin this week, according to AP.
