ADC, Navy Federal Credit Union Launch Military Family Financial Wellness Program

May 19, 2021

ADC and Navy Federal Credit Union announced their new Guiding Your Mission initiative Wednesday.

The program promotes financial wellness and career development within military and veteran communities by connecting them with financial and career counselors who serve at installations, according to a press release.

“Whether it be preparing for a new duty station or a military spouse being tasked with paying the bills while their loved one is deployed, managing money the right way is so important,” said Keith Hoskins, executive vice president of branch operations at Navy Federal. “Career and financial counselors help to make sure these families’ bases are covered ahead of their next mission.”

The organizations also announced the creation of the Guidepost Awards “to recognize the value of career and financial counselors who help our military families and veterans plan ahead and invest in their financial security, ADC CEO Tim Ford said. “Financial wellness is a part of keeping the force and our defense communities strong.”

The first Guidepost Awards will be presented at ADC’s Installation Innovation Forum in San Antonio this November.
