The 92nd Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington recently hosted volunteer firefighter recruits from the region to train on base, according to a DOD story. “The purpose of the training is to increase our community partnership,” Tech Sgt. Alexander Spears said. “We showed them around base, walked them around our KC-135 Stratotankers, shared our mission set, and put them through training with our firefighters.”…

The Air Force and the Federal Aviation Administration have a new agreement that they say will cut red tape to allow for easier commercial space launches from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida and Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, C4ISRNET reported.
