IIF21 COVID-19 Protocols: What to Know Before You Get to San Antonio

October 15, 2021

As ADC plans for its first Installation Innovation Forum since 2019 – happening Nov. 1-3 in San Antonio, Texas – it is taking important COVID-19 control measures to protect its participants.

All attendees, presenters, vendors and guests must provide proof in advance that they are fully vaccinated. An attendee is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after finishing a two-dose regimen – such as the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines – or two weeks after getting the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Unvaccinated attendees must show negative test results from a COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event start.

Attendees, vendors, speakers and guests can review the COVID-19 protocols and easily upload their documentation on the IIF Safety page before they arrive. The site outlines the steps ADC and the host hotel are taking to ensure the event is as safe as possible.

ADC is also following CDC guidelines and the request of its military partners in expecting attendees to properly wear face masks at all indoor portions of IIF, except when they need to be lowered to actively eat or drink.

ADC’s protocols are similar to those implemented at the Air Force Association’s recent Air, Space & Cyber Conference and this week’s Association of the U.S. Army annual conference.

You can still register for one of the remaining spots for IIF, which has a strict capacity limit to facilitate social distancing and other safety mitigation measures.
