Hunt Companies reached a deal with the U.S. Department of Justice to pay $500,000 to resolve fraud allegations involving its military housing operations at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, Air Force Times reported….

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) said this week that people are “playing politics” with reports that four Texas National Guard members have committed suicide while deployed to the southern border as part of Abbott’s Operation Lone Star, the Texas Tribune reported. The Army is investigating the border mission, Military.com reported….

Families temporarily moved out of their homes at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii after the Navy’s fuel leak have responded more positively to the Army for its response than to the Navy, according to Task and Purpose’s Haley Britzky, who spoke to Hawaii Public Radio about her conversations with families. “There was just this complete break in messaging between the two services that I think made it very confusing for people, and again, just sort of undermined that trust in Navy officials moving forward,” Britzky said….

The Redstone Arsenal, Alabama headquarters of Space and Missile Defense Command is using autonomous electric mowers as part of an Army pilot program. The mowers operate similar to Roomba vacuum cleaners, follow GPS and have built-in safety features, the Redstone Rocket reported.
