About 4,000 veterans treated at a VA hospital in Dublin, Georgia are being advised to get tested for bloodborne illnesses such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV, after concerns over whether reusable medical equipment was improperly sterilized during three days in January. The risk for infection is “very low,” WMAZ TV reported….

The Navy has promised to fix problems in the barracks at Naval Support Activity Bethesda, Maryland, home to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Navy Times reported. Hundreds of junior sailors and soldiers were moved out of the barracks after Navy Times reported on their concerns, including an ongoing lack of hot water.
