The House voted late Tuesday night to authorize another $40 billion for military, economic and humanitarian aid for Ukraine. The vote was 368-57.

“With this aid package, America sends a resounding message to the world of our unwavering determination to stand with the courageous people of Ukraine until victory is won,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) wrote to her colleagues Tuesday.

The Senate could consider the bill later this week.

The White House, Pentagon and State Department have said President Biden is running out of previously authorized funding to continue supporting Ukraine.
