Lawmakers Ask Appropriators for $100 Million in DCIP Funding

A bipartisan group of House members are asking appropriators to provide $100 million for the Defense Community Infrastructure Program in the upcoming fiscal year, which starts in October.

“DCIP is of vital importance to the wellbeing of our national security infrastructure and the welfare of our service members and their families,” the lawmakers wrote in an April 28 letter to the defense appropriations subcommittee. “It will also help communities emerge from the coronavirus pandemic by investing in important infrastructure needs.”

The letter is signed by Reps.
