Senate Starts NDAA Work Today

June 13, 2022

The Senate Armed Services Committee begins marking up its version of the fiscal year 2023 defense authorization bill with a series of subcommittee hearings today and tomorrow.

Most of the hearings are closed to the public, except for the Readiness and Management Support Subcommittee meeting Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time and the Personnel Subcommittee hearing Tuesday at 3 p.m. Eastern time. Both of those hearings will be streamed online.

The full committee will hold its closed-door markup Wednesday.

The House Armed Services Committee’s subcommittees completed their work last week, and the full committee will mark up its bill June 22, as On Base reported.
