November 30, 2022

The U.S. is committing $53 million to help Ukraine restore its power grid, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said Tuesday, as The Hill reported. The aid will include transformers, circuit breakers and vehicles to help Ukraine keep its power on through the winter. Russia has focused missile attacks on the energy infrastructure, leaving some Ukrainians in the dark.

The issue was a primary topic at a meeting of NATO allies Tuesday, The New York Times reported.
