Senate Still Needs to Consider NDAA

December 14, 2022

With the focus on reaching a spending deal, Senate leaders have not yet scheduled floor time for consideration of the James M. Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act, but it seems the bill is on track to pass the chamber and go to the President, maybe this week.

Some members may try to amend the compromise bill, which passed the House last week. If any of those attempts succeed, the bill would have to go back to the House.
