The DOD Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation has awarded almost $60 million to the Alamogordo School District to help replace the current elementary and middle schools at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, according to a DOD press release. The award will be paired with other funds. OLDCC’s Public Schools on Military Installations Program focuses on schools with the most serious capacity and facility issues….

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development is providing a state tax credit worth up to $15 million for redevelopment at the former Fort Ritchie, the Herald-Mail reported. “The redevelopment of Fort Ritchie will preserve a piece of history in Washington County and be transformative for the surrounding community,” Gov. Larry Hogan (R) said….
