This Friday: ADC to Host DOD, EPA to Discuss Forever Chemical Cleanup

ADC is co-hosting a virtual forum Friday for an update on PFAS contamination and federal cleanup efforts in defense communities.

Speakers at “PFAS Clean-Up: How Communities Can Work with DOD and EPA” will include:

  • Brendan Owens, assistant secretary of defense for energy, installations and environment
  • Richard Kidd, deputy assistant secretary of defense for environment and energy resilience
  • Helen Duteau, chief of EPA’s Community Involvement and Program Initiatives Branch
  • Karen Holt, ADC president

Owens will take questions from attendees.

The forum, scheduled to take place May 26 at 10 a.m., is hosted by ADC and the Environmental Working Group.
