About 250 military families from Fort Campbell, Kentucky were displaced after recent tornadoes, according to the American Red Cross. “As many as 1,100 Fort Campbell soldiers and family members are without water, heat or electricity, and it could be a week or more until those utilities are restored,” the Red Cross said in a Wednesday update….
Fort Drum, New York will be the future home of a new Army multi-domain task force, bringing about 1,500 new soldiers and civilian employees to the base, Syracuse.com reported. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said it will enhance Fort Drum “as a pillar within America’s national defense strategy.”
