The William Beaumont Army Medical Facility at Fort Bliss, Texas is again providing most services, while work continues on the hospital’s plumbing system. The hospital has been relying on bottled water while plumbers look into the discolored water that led to usage restrictions almost two weeks ago, as Stars and Stripes reported. Maine Gov. Janet Mills (D) signed legislation this week aimed at improving the state’s National Guard response to sexual assault and sexual harassment, according to AP. “Sexual assault and all forms of harassment fly in the face of military values and what it means to wear the uniform,” said Maj. Gen. Douglas Farnam, the state’s adjutant general.
