A group of state lawmakers in California have proposed legislation that would replicate and complement the national Defense Community Infrastructure Program in that state, according to the California Defense Communities Alliance. CDCA said if the bill doesn’t pass before the legislature adjourns this summer, that the legislation will likely be reintroduced in the next term….

Corvias has launched a large-scale energy efficiency project at Fort Rucker, Alabama. It will install energy upgrades in about 1,350 homes. “Advancing energy savings within our communities is one way we are continuing to improve the day-to-day comfort of our residents. It is also laying the foundation for our future operations,” Peter Sims, Corvias managing director, said in a press release.
