Almost 1,000 community members turned out recently as the Antelope Valley region officially accepted its designation as an ADC Great American Defense Community, the Antelope Valley Press reported. “This really is an award for all of the Antelope Valley,” Palmdale Mayor Steve Hofbauer said. “This is for Palmdale and Lancaster, for Air Force Plant 42 and Edwards and China Lake and the entire Antelope Valley.”…
