Fort Meade Alliance has partnered with Fort Meade, Maryland on a new Education and Resiliency Center that has its grand opening today, the Baltimore Sun reported. The center will be a hub for wellness and mental health services available to service members in a comfortable setting. “We wanted it to be warm and welcoming and not to look like a government building,” said Tim O’Ferrall, managing director of Fort Meade Alliance….

The Center for a New American Security’s new report, “Greater San Antonio Military & Veteran Family Needs Assessment,” looks at the health, housing, financial stability, education and social support programs available to military- and veteran-connected families in San Antonio, Texas. The report, based on a year of research, was made possible by the support of United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County.
