The Texas Governor’s Committee to Support the Military released a new report “with recommendations for policy changes and legislative action to improve education, health care, quality of life, workforce development, encroachment and infrastructure as they relate to the military community of Texas,” according to a press release. The report includes eight policy recommendations to the state legislature, outlined in the release, including proposals on military child care, veterans housing, infrastructure, and more. The 22-person community includes veterans, community leaders and business leaders….

The Navy and California Energy Commission recently committed $2 million for electrification projects at multiple installations in the state, according to a Navy press release.
