ADC to Honor Three National Defense Community Champions

The Association of Defense Communities last week announced the selection of three individuals  as national Defense Community Champions to be honored this week during the Defense Community National Summit.

The champions are Lucy Greene from the Moody Air Force Base, Georgia community, Kimberly Huth, executive director of military affairs for St. Clair County, Illinois, and Frederick Mueller, the former mayor of Sierra Vista, Arizona.

Greene, Huth and Mueller are among 17 local Defense Community Champions announced in January.

“Defense community champions are leaders on base and in communities across local governments and industries who are going the extra mile,” said Keith Hoskins, executive vice president of branch operations at Navy Federal Credit Union, the official sponsor of ADC’s Defense Community Champion. “They go above and beyond to make an impact and foster community in and around military installations.”
