First Lady Jill Biden toured Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio Wednesday and met with military families, the Dayton Daily News reported. “My job as the first lady is travel around the country and hear from our military, hear what’s going right and hear what’s going wrong and take it back to Joe,” she said. “So when he’s doing things like figuring out the budget, he knows that the military needs child care. I’ve heard that all across the nation.”…

Service members at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia led an exercise this week to help law enforcement officials from Savannah and Liberty County prepare against active shooter threats, Army Times reported. “The primary purpose of our exercise program is to train our civilian workforce,” installation emergency manager Chester “Beau” Bradley said. His team has been planning the exercise since December.
