Barnes Air National Guard Base, Massachusetts, is receiving a fleet of F-35A aircraft, as WWLP reported. DOD’s decision to bring the aircraft there “will benefit the western Massachusetts community for years to come,” Rep. Richard Neal (D-Mass.) said….

Fort Drum, New York now has an economic impact of more than $2 million to the North Country region, according to North Country Public Radio. “Warfighter readiness, fiscal growth in the community, and sustainability are inextricably linked,” the Fort Drum command said….

Lendlease was recognized by the Department of Energy’s Better Buildings Alliance with a Better Practice Award for energy efficiency at Island Palm Communities and Hickam Communities, both in Hawaii, according to a press release.
