Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) signed a bill this week to make it easier for military spouses to start work with a license from another state, according to a press release. “Our veterans and military families have dedicated their lives and undergo great sacrifice in service to our country,” Kemp said. “While we can never repay the debt we owe them… I am proud to say that we are living up to our promise of keeping Georgia the best state in the country for service members and their spouses to live, work and raise a family.”…

Sergeant Major of the Army Michael Weimer and Army Training and Doctrine Command Commander Sgt. Maj. Raymond Harris attended a social event hosted by AUSA Fort Leonard Wood Mid-Missouri to engage with senior leaders and community representatives, highlighting the region’s support for soldiers and families, according to Phelps County Focus. Weimer spoke with military spouses about Fort Leonard Wood’s new military spouse resource center and the impact it has had on military spouse employment and career progression.
