The Spirit of Resilience: How Tyndall and Bay County Are Moving On

March 5, 2019

Leaders at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., and in Bay County say that rebuilding from Hurricane Michael, which devastated the area in October, gives them an opportunity to make Tyndall more resilient for the future.
That is the focus of a new ADC video that debuted Tuesday at Installation Innovation Forum.
“Everybody’s mind has had to shift into this new age of adapting and innovating and just doing what we can to make sure that the mission doesn’t stop,” said Staff Sergeant Stephanie Mahoney, an instructor at the Airman Leadership School.
Bay County is one of five members of the 2019 class of Great American Defense Communities.
