The Hawaii Department of Health is fining the Navy $8.7 million for more than 700 incidents of discharging sewage from its wastewater treatment plant at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Stars & Stripes reported. “We are taking action to protect our state’s water resources and to hold the Navy accountable to make critical repairs and prevent a potential catastrophic failure of the facility,” said Kathleen Ho, deputy director of environment health….

Joint Base San Antonio, Texas and the Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG) were recognized at the recent Air & Space Forces Association conference for their innovative partnerships, according to a press release shared with ADC. “We are so proud and honored to be JBSA’s partner,” AACOG Executive Director Diane Rath said. The Army & Air Force Exchange Service recently celebrated the grand re-opening of its shopping center at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington, according to a press release. “The reopening marks a new era of service and support at JBLM,” JBLM Exchange General Manager Matthew Beatty said at Wednesday’s ribbon-cutting ceremony.
