A former bowling alley at Marine Corps Cherry Point, North Carolina has become the Cherry Point Public House, which a DOD press release described as “an on-base community with a modern, multi-purpose environment for personnel to enjoy and build comradery.” The new facility features an arcade, a gaming arena, darts, pool tables, a training room, a theater and self-serve tap bar. “The improvements are an upgrade, and I think my friends and I will make good memories here,” said Marine Corps Lance Cpl.
