President Joe Biden proclaimed Castner Range at Fort Bliss, Texas as a new national monument, as the Army said in a news story. “This action will protect the cultural, scientific and historic objects found within the monument’s boundaries, honor our veterans, service members, and Tribal Nations, and expand access to outdoor recreation on our public lands,” a White House fact sheet said….

An internal Hawaii Department of Health memo appears to show that there was antifreeze present in the drinking water along with jet fuel when the Navy’s Red Hill storage facility leaked into the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam drinking water in November 2021, according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
