HASC Plans NDAA Markup for Mid-June

May 18, 2023

House Armed Services Committee Vice Chair Rob Wittman (R-Va.) told reporters Wednesday that his committee plans to mark up the NDAA in mid-June, setting up potential floor consideration for mid-July, CQ reported.

That’s similar to the Senate Armed Services Committee’s planned schedule.

Both chambers’ authorizing committees postponed action planned for this month because of the looming debt ceiling crisis. With those talks still in the air, the NDAA could get delayed again.
