The Small Business Administration launched a new program to help military spouses learn how to start their own businesses, according to a press release.

The Military Spouse Pathway to Business Program includes virtual and in-person classes nationally for spouses “with a strong business idea or [who are] considering entrepreneurship.” They will learn how to develop a business plan, among other skills.

“America’s military spouses have served our country, and the SBA is ready to support them with customized programs and layered support resources so they can pursue their dreams of business ownership,” SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman said.
