Military installations in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina are starting to return to normal operations after Hurricane Idalia hit the region, Military.com reported, adding that there was no significant impact to any installations.

Now, the states’ National Guardsmen are starting their post-storm work to “provide responsive, sustained support to reduce suffering and assist in the restoration of critical services,” the Pentagon’s top spokesman, Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder, said Thursday.
