Pennsylvania is providing grants totaling $800,000 to help veterans transition into post-military jobs, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported. “[Veterans Employment Program] funding is not only an investment in veterans and their families,” Department of Labor & Industry Secretary Nancy Walker said. “It helps employers reach an untapped labor pool that will ultimately strengthen Pennsylvania communities and the commonwealth’s economy.”
