Joint Base Lewis-McChord hosted a Special Needs Summit last week that brought together child care specialists from installations around the world, according to an Army story. “Providing adequate child care to our service members is foundational,” JBLM Deputy Commander Col. Brandon Sokora told the attendees. “What y’all do every day makes a significant impact on what makes our service members willing to stay.”

About 70 members of the Virginia National Guard who are based in Virginia Beach are preparing for a January deployment to Poland to support multinational training exercises, 13 News Now reported.
