USMC Hits Recruitment Target

October 16, 2023

The Marine Corps exceeded its fiscal year 2023 target of new Marines by 21, Marine Corps Times reported.

“While arguably facing the most challenging recruiting environment since the establishment of the all-volunteer force,” Jim Edwards, a spokesman for Marine Corps Recruiting Command, told the outlet, “our success is a direct result of the hard work of Marines serving on recruiting duty.”

Space Force is the only other branch that met its recruitment goals for the year, as Military.com noted.
