OLDCC Urges Communities to Start Now on DCIP Proposals

November 2, 2023

The DOD Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation is encouraging communities to begin drafting proposals for next year’s Defense Community Infrastructure Pilot program, even though Congress has not yet finalized appropriations or authorization for fiscal year 2024.

In a public notice released Wednesday, OLDCC recommended that interested parties review the fiscal year 2023 competition information as a starting point to prepare proposals for the next round of funding, likely to be distributed in the summer or fall of 2024.

OLDCC Director Patrick O’Brien is expected to provide updates on DCIP and other funding opportunities, such as the Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program, during a town hall at next week’s Installation Innovation Forum in Orlando. There’s still time to register.
