The Senate voted 67 to 32 Thursday to advance a bill providing $60 billion in aid to Ukraine and $14 billion in aid for Israel. It also includes $10 billion for humanitarian efforts.
It may take several more days for the Senate to consider amendments and the final bill, The New York Times reported. It’s also unclear if House Republicans will back the bill.
This package follows Wednesday’s rejection of a similar bill that also included long-negotiated immigration provisions, as On Base reported.
