Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri opened a new Spouse Resource Center last week as a one-stop shop for military spouses’ professional and personal needs, St. Louis Public Radio reported. “We will provide resume workshops, employment readiness education opportunities and a connection between the community resources and the installation, bridging the gap,” said Eyonda Williams, director of human resources at Fort Leonard Wood….

More than 2,200 military families and civilians filed a lawsuit against the federal government Monday over water contamination at Joint Base Pearl-Hickam, Hawaii, Military.com reported. Many say they suffer long-term health effects from the 2021 fuel spill at the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility. It’s the third suit filed over the spill.
