Budget Hearings, ADC Summit: Here’s What We’re Watching in D.C. This Week

Tuesday

9:30 a.m.: Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Joint Chiefs Chair Air Force Gen. CQ Brown, and DOD Comptroller Michael McCord discuss the DOD budget request at a Senate Budget Committee hearing.

10 a.m.: Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Allvin and Chief of Space Operations Gen. Chance Saltzman will testify on the Air Force and Space Force budget requests at a Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing.

Wednesday

10 a.m.: Navy Secretary Carlos Del Toro, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti and Marine Corps Commandant Gen. Eric Smith will testify on the Navy and Marine Corps budget requests before the House Appropriations Committee.

2 p.m.: Army Secretary Christine Wormuth and Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George will testify on the Army budget request before a House Appropriations Committee hearing.

2 p.m.: Installation management officials will testify on family housing and Army construction plans before a House Appropriations subcommittee.

Thursday

9 a.m.: Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough will testify before the committee on the White House’s VA budget request.

9 a.m.: The House Armed Services Committee will hold a hearing for House members’ suggestions for the National Defense Authorization Act.

2 p.m.: Installation management officials will testify on family housing and Navy and Marine Corps construction plans before a House Appropriations subcommittee.
